TOMFIT Owner, Radek, has been on an unbelievable journey!
As most of you know, we are a small team, and you are almost guaranteed to find Radek out on the gym floor sprinkling a little bit of magic in to our awesome members lives. But, despite owning a gym Radek wouldn’t consider himself a “fitness junkie” or “health nut,” he simply trains regularly and eats well so he can look great and feel amazing.
Back in 2019 Radek decided it was time to set a fitness goal. That goal was to complete the Auckland Marathon. This meant going from running no more than 3km to completing a 42km distance!
In the 12 weeks leading up to the Marathon he decided if there was ever a time to get the full TOMFIT experience it was now.
So, Radek hired himself a running coach, Liam Wilkinson, committed to doing 2+ TGFC Classes p/week, stuck to a handful of strength training sessions and monitored his body composition changes using our InBody Scanner.

Everything came together like a beautiful puzzle to help him not only complete his first ever marathon but to do it in just 04:44:57!
18 months have passed and Radek has built on the aforementioned 12 week health and fitness journey and has since completed the Auckland half marathon whilst maintaining a strong, lean and healthy physique.
The goal is to create sustainability. To create a fitness regime that is enjoyable, efficient and rewarding. That sustainable fitness regime may look very different from one person to another but there is an option for everyone, you just need to find the best option for you. This is why we have worked tirelessly over the last 7 years to create an all inclusive 24/7 Fitness facility run by world class coaches and filled with friendly and supportive members.
Whilst you may not be able to imagine your self doing this whole gym thing, the reality is you don’t have be a “gym junkie” to get in great shape and change your life. You just need to find a path that is both inline with your goals and enjoyable.
